Lossnay Single Room VL100 Series

Adding fresh air to a single space has never been easier! Single Room Energy Recovery Ventilation Tiny Homes Retrofit High Density Granny Flats

Adding Energy Recovery Ventilation to Individual Spaces Has Never Been Easier The Mitsubishi Electric Lossnay VL100 Single Room Series makes adding energy recovery ventilation quick and fuss-free, with both wall-mounted and in-ceiling models to choose from. A well-ventilated room maintains air quality and helps control moisture build-up for a healthier, more comfortable environment year-round. Mitsubishi Electric’s patented Lossnay balanced pressure energy recovery system extracts stale air and replaces it with fresh filtered outdoor air, delivering comfort and efficiency all year round. The VL100 Series is ideal for small new-builds like tiny homes, granny flats, sleepouts and cabins, and a costeffective retrofit solution for existing spaces in homes like rumpus rooms, converted home offices, home gyms and hobby rooms. For apartments, townhouses and multi-level homes built without ventilation and prone to summer overheating, the VL100 Series is also a cost effective solution to bring filtered fresh air to individual rooms that need it most. Do you have space in your roof? • Ducted Ceiling Mount VL-100 • Wall Mount VL-100 YES NO Wall Mounted In-Ceiling How the Unique Lossnay Core Works Airflow shown in Winter Mode Exhaust Air As the stale Return Air is removed, the Lossnay Core ‘recovers’ the useful heat energy from it. The air is then exhausted outside along with the unwanted pollutants. Outdoor Air Fresh Outdoor Air is first filtered, then passed through the Lossnay Core. This allows it to be pre-warmed in winter (or pre-cooled in summer) using the energy recovered from the Return Air. Supply Air Supply Air then enters your house as fresh pre-warmed or pre-cooled air. Return Air The stale air extracted from your home is Return Air, which can contain high levels of CO2, odours and other pollutants. This Return Air stream also contains heat energy that Lossnay can recover, which is not the case with positive pressure ventilation systems. Exhaust Air Supply Air Outdoor Air Return Air

Small New Builds Like Tiny Homes Tiny homes, granny flats, single room studios, converted sheds, cabins or container style offices commonly struggle with airflow and ongoing moisture build-up. With limited space and tight budgets, ducted mechanical ventilation isn’t practical, leaving rooms stuffy and damp. Renovated Spare Rooms In older homes, spare rooms are often renovated into home offices, gyms, rumpus rooms, or hobby spaces. But without accessible ceiling space for ducted systems, ventilation is an afterthought. Limited natural airflow means these rooms can feel stale and stuffy and suffer ongoing moisture issues. Rooms That Overheat in Summer Modern homes keep heat in and upstairs bedrooms pay the price. Without proper ventilation, summer heat builds fast and won’t budge. The problem is compounded when opening windows isn’t ideal due to noise, insects, or privacy and there’s no practical way to purge the heat. Rooms Without Ceiling Space Most existing homes weren’t built with mechanical ventilation in mind and many have no space to retrofit a ducted solution. This makes the VL100 Wall Mount a perfect standalone option to add fresh filtered air, simply and affordably. And because of the unique Lossnay Core, energy bills are minimised because incoming fresh air is pre-warmed with the outgoing stale air. Why the VL100 Wall Mount Works So Well ✓ Wall-mounted, so no ceiling or roof space for ducting is needed. ✓ Just two small 85-90mm holes in the exterior wall. ✓ Energy recovery maximises heating and cooling efficiencies. ✓ Helps retain warmth (or coolness) already in the room, saving on power bills. ✓ Constant fresh filtered air, without open windows. ✓ Great for rooms that are noisy, lack privacy, or get bugs when windows are left open. ✓ Helps tackle condensation and removes stale air. ✓ Perfect for detached rooms or small spaces prone to dampness.
