How do I place an order?

For all selected products and accessories sold on www.mitsubishi-electric.co.nz simply add the required item(s) to your ‘basket’, and proceed to the checkout. We can only ship to New Zealand addresses.

Payment Method is by Credit Card Only; Visa and MasterCard via Payment Express which is a Visa and MasterCard certified solution, developed by DPS.

Item/s purchased from Black Diamond Technologies Limited, the exclusive distributor of Mitsubishi Electric in New Zealand, are processed through our trading account 'SHOPCITY.CO.NZ'. Please note this is the name that will appear on your bank statement.

How long will my order take to arrive?

Please allow 2-5 working days for standard delivery or 3-7 business days for rural delivery.

Please note when selecting your delivery address, to ensure there will be someone at the delivery address during the day to sign for receipt of the package. A business address may be more suitable than a home address for this purpose. All deliveries are by courier, for which a signature is required as proof of delivery.

What should I do if the goods arrive damaged?

If the goods are damaged in any way upon delivery, you should either;

  • sign for it as DIT (Damaged in Transit) and indicate the type of damage, or
  • if the damage is significant, then reject the delivery shipment and contact us on 0800 737 842.

If a delivery is accepted with damage, but not signed as damaged, we may be unable to replace the damaged item.

What should I do if I ordered the wrong product?

Contact our Customer Services Team within 7 days of the invoice to request a return number (RMA) and return instructions. Our contact details are:

Please quote the invoice number in any email. Please have a copy of your invoice on hand when you call.

To return an item to us:

  • Re-pack the item in the original packaging with all accessories.
  • Attach a return address label over the original delivery label.
  • The return number (RMA) must be clearly marked on the return address label. If an item is returned without a RMA number clearly marked on the return address label, it may get declined and returned to you.
  • Send the package back to us. We recommend using a tracked delivery service (i.e. NZ Post Parcel Post Tracked, or other tracked courier service).

Please note: Products returned for an exchange must be in a re-saleable condition with all original packaging intact and returned with the item. Courier costs are not refundable.

All orders placed on this site will be delivered to New Zealand addresses only. We cannot accept international orders via this website. If you are based outside NZ it is best to contact your local Mitsubishi Electric Sales Office.

Delivery Terms and Conditions

A reference to 'BDT', 'we', 'our' 'ourselves' or 'us' means Black Diamond Technologies Ltd (BDT). BDT is the exclusive distributor of Mitsubishi Electric products sold in New Zealand.

Authority to Leave (ATL), All items sent via BDT will require a signature upon arrival, any items sent out to an address with an ATL lodged with the carrier against the receivers address removes BDT from being liable for any damages or missing in transit items, we strongly recommend to leave this as signature required. By accepting these Terms and Conditions, you agree that BDT will not be liable for any damages or losses for a parcel delivered with an ATL and the receiver is responsible for covering any losses for missing or damaged parcels.

If there is no-one home to receive the goods during the day, please provide your business address for delivery as we require a signature as proof of delivery. If you're not in when the Courier / Shipping Carrier comes to deliver the product, the Courier / Shipping Carrier should then leave a 'Calling Card' in your mailbox asking you to contact them and arrange for a convenient time for them to drop it off.     Depending on whether this is a business or residential address the timeframe will vary depending on the network this travels in.
    For business address – please allow 5-7 business days, for residential deliveries you will receive a text offer on the mobile number provided with your order from our carrier to arrange a time to deliver the unit.
