With all the heating and cooling ability of the Ecodan Cylinders, the Ecodan Hydrobox is a small form factor heating and cooling powerhouse. The hydrobox can be connected to underfloor, fan coils and/or radiators and provide a whole home central heating solution. For users looking for domestic hot water, the hydrobox can be connected to a heat pump compatible coiled cylinder, while still providing whole home heating. Already a highly efficient system, the new generation of hydrobox builds on this through the use of R32 refrigerant; an environmentally conscious alternative to existing refrigerant technologies. At a similar size to a conventional gas hot water heating system, the small form factor hydrobox is a highly adaptable solution for retrofit or new builds. The system comprises of the 6.0kW PUZ-W60VAA-BS outdoor packaged unit, the ERPX-VM6D hydrobox and FTC6 controller.
